Showtime Cancels White Famous Starring Jay Pharoah

Jamie Foxx’s new Showtime comedy starring SNL alum Jay Pharoah will not return for a second season. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the network has officially canceled White Famous, which premiered its debut season in October and wrapped up its 10-episode run last month. Showtime’s other freshman comedy SMILF, meanwhile, recently earned a season 2 order.  Read our interview with Pharoah about the series here. American Ninja Warriors Drew Drechsel Charged With Child Sex Crimes

American Ninja Warrior star Drew Drechsel was arrested on Tuesday, August 4, over child sex crimes, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of New Jersey announced in a press release. The Florida native, 31, was charged with manufacture of child pornography, enticement of a minor to travel for illicit sexual conduct, travel with the intent to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor and use of interstate commerce to entice a minor.
